Our Services

We offer support, information and advocacy tailored to the individual needs of women who are living with, or who have experienced violence or abuse.  We also assist women through use of inter-agency connecting, mentoring and working with local peer support group W.A.V.E.S.  We can offer training and awareness raising to individuals, local communities and other agencies and we are also now able to offer multi-lingual support to women from local BME communities.

Here are some comments about our service from clients.

"The whole point of me mailing is to show my appreciation towards the staff from the project who helped me before.  They didn't make me feel silly, and most importantly, they didn't make me feel like a 'victim'.  Since contacting your project I have found the motivation and re-assessed my priorities, and now more than ever before I actually feel empowered and able to help myself and my kids. I'm praying for the strength to stick to my guns as I would be a fool to think it was going to be easy, especially with xmas just around the corner and I don't have any money now he has gone, but I can save for all those material things next year as I have my kids and my own well being for now.  Thanks again."

"I had no idea there was so much information and support available out there to help."
