The Castlemilk Domestic Violence Project/D.A.R.A. is an organisation dedicated to alleviating the suffering of women and their families who are or who have experienced domestic abuse. Founded in 2000 the work focuses on providing support, guidance and development primarily for women to assist them in changing their circumstances.   The project believes passionately in human rights and targets resources to make a real difference for women and their families. The Project provides a community response to domestic abuse and works in partnership with other statutory & voluntary agencies to ensure that the response meets the need as identified by local women.
